Conversations with Jonathan & Christa Threlfall

Why We Talk With Our Kids About Homosexuality

Summary

Christian parents are called to bring up their children “in the training and instruction of the Lord,” and this means teaching them what the Lord says about any domain of life, including gender and sexuality.

In this episode, Jonathan and Christa discuss how they have navigated the topic of homosexuality with their children, as it has come up from time to time in their home. They explain why it is important for Christian parents to have such conversations with their children, guided by both conviction and compassion.

  1. So I watched this on YouTube… Appreciate the heart of this as we witness.
I feel it really matters with each situation. For example if I’m witnessing the goal is Salvation. If one hits on my Son, Momma bear is coming out.
Definitely a challenge for the Church!
